Doctor Who Character
We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good, you've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this, not one day, I swear. I will always remember when The Doctor was me. „

— The Eleventh Doctor's last words.

The Eleventh Doctor is the eleventh incarnation of The Doctor, as well as being the final incarnation of the original regeneration cycle, a Time Lord and an RP character used by DarthShiro19.

Personality:[]

The Eleventh Doctor was energetic, lively, eccentric, resourceful, and quick-thinking, able to spin things to his point of view and find positive outlooks in negative situations, and, while he preferred to settle problems through negotiation rather than violence, he was willing to result to violence when he deemed it necessary.

More childish in nature than his previous incarnations, the Eleventh Doctor frequently defined himself as a "a madman with a box", and was too childish for the psychic paper to register him as a "mature and responsible adult". His inner-child was most prominent when travelling with his in-laws, Amy Pond and Rory Williams, with the duo often taking a parental responsibility over him. After he lost them to the Weeping Angels, the Doctor began to behave more maturely, preparing extensively, calculating the odds and calling for help when needed, but still maintained a childlike outlook on life on occasion. After he had saved Gallifrey, he pointedly chose to stay on Trenzalore and age into an old man.

Much like his second incarnation, the Eleventh Doctor showed a childlike recklessness, but always had a grand scheme behind his actions. He was often deceptive and manipulative: lying, habitually putting elaborate plans in place and executing them, even if his plans emotionally hurt his loved ones. He thought aloud when he was panicking or stressed, and tended to babble about what he knew about a current situation to come up with a plan, believing that he would have one when he finished talking.

The Doctor was extremely impatient, needing to keep himself entertained because he'd "lose his mind out of boredom", and had a poor concept of time, doing a series of tasks in an hour without realising the amount of time that had passed. Despite his childlike impatience, he enjoyed reading. After a growth in maturity, the Doctor's patience increased, to the extent that he eventually settled down in the town of Christmas on the planet Trenzalore for nine hundred years. The Eleventh Doctor also got distracted easily. Usually, it applied to something only he found fascinating, even disregarding important matters.

The Eleventh Doctor had a tendency towards self-loathing for his actions, realising that the Dream Lord was an aspect of his unconscious because "nobody in the universe could hate him as much as he did." He also hated himself for being merciful due to the deaths that always followed, seeing that victims of the Master and the Daleks could have been saved if he hadn't been so merciful to them. In an imaginary interrogation session with his previous incarnations, the Doctor imagined them all leaving him in disgust and disgrace after he made the claim that he always left things better than he found them.

The Eleventh Doctor favoured the combination of fish fingers and custard, which he called fish custard. He also liked Jammie Dodgers, but disliked drinking any kind of wine. Though he initially hated certain foods, such as apples, bacon, bread and carrots because of post-regenerative trauma, he eventually came to like them. The Doctor liked Torodon tea, and decaffeinated frappuccinos, but disliked ginger biscuits, musk tea, and bourbon biscuits. His favourite fruit was the pomegranate, and his favourite number was 11.

The Doctor also showed a fondness for music, and claimed to have played with various composers and musicians. Amy Pond even once caught him attempting to conceal a Euphonium behind his back. He also liked music more contemporary, at one time visiting a studio to contribute some urban backing vocals. However, he appeared to greatly dislike the "Chicken Dance", even grimacing upon hearing it and plugging his ears. He also had a fondness for strange words, such as "Shenanagins", "Toggle", "Vim" and "vigour". Like his ninth incarnation, he showed a strong dislike for people who tried to excuse their crimes as them "following orders".

Though he showed disdain for guns, claiming they "made people stupid", the Doctor was willing to use them in non-harmful ways, such as shooting a gravity globe to allow himself and several others to escape from the Weeping Angels, and to threaten his adversaries, holding one on Kahler-Jex to force him to surrender to the Gunslinger. He even endorsed River Song using a gun to kill agents of the Silence. He also disliked knives, but believed them useful for spreading butter and jam on crumpets. However, in his later years, especially during the Siege of Trenzalore, he would use violence more frequently.

The Eleventh Doctor didn't think of himself as a good man, seeming more susceptible to changes in personality; he grew more vicious, unforgiving, and developed a short temper when he didn't have company to restrain his dark side. He could also be ruthless at times and would strike down those who committed horrific acts, and committed violence himself against enemies when consumed by utter rage, in defence of others, or when his own life was in peril.

Much like his previous incarnation, the Eleventh Doctor felt his age when it took him a longer time to figure things out. Because of his age, he was sometimes pessimistic, looking at the negative things about life. However, he admitted he could see the positive things with help from companions.

Openly describing himself as "obsessive-compulsive", the Doctor was known to let his curiosity over enigmas get the better of him, often putting himself and others in harm's way for answers. His insistence on solving mysteries also led him to take on Amy Pond and Clara Oswald as companions.

Much like his sixth incarnation, the Eleventh Doctor was willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good, closing the Time fields knowing he would end up on the wrong side and be erased from reality, and would have blown up the Firebird to keep the Earth from being destroyed by Skaldak. He often put aside his own safety if his companions were endangered, going to rescue the Paternoster Gang at his tomb and risking the collapse of his entire time stream to rescue Clara. Despite all this, the Doctor admitted that he could be selfish at times, telling Amy that he had taken her with him because he was vain and wanted to be adored. The Doctor also showed arrogance at times, though his arrogance was a façade to hide his insecurities, and the guilt he felt over ruining his past companions' lives.

The Eleventh Doctor also had an intense sadness that was almost an exhausted pain. After losing Amy and Rory, he fell into a depression that even the Paternoster Gang could not get him out of, vowing never to help the universe again after becoming fed up of losing everything, until he met Clara Oswin Oswald. When he interrogated Alaya, the Doctor revealed that he still felt the loneliness of being the last of his kind. When the Doctor was given a ray of hope that he wasn't the last of the Time Lords, and it turned out to be a trap, he began to tear up. He also expressed a desire to be forgiven for what he had done in the Time War.

Regarding his other incarnations, the Eleventh Doctor liked to make fun of his younger selves, especially his tenth incarnation, jokingly calling him "sandshoes" and joking about his skinny figure. He did, however, admire the Ninth Doctor, believing him to have been "fantastic". He held great admiration for the Twelfth Doctor, viewing his mere existence as uplifting as it assured him that he had a future despite thinking he was the last incarnation. He also displayed joy at the Curator's resemblance to the Fourth Doctor and the hope he gave him that Gallifrey still existed.

Abilities & Tools:[]

  • Regeneration: The Eleventh Doctor can regenerate. His regeneration can be used in small bursts, although it reduces this form's lifespan, however, when he regenerates, it is wise to stay out of his way.
  • Intelligence: The Eleventh Doctor is very intelligent. Having seen countless universes born and die, knowing secrets and forbidden knowledge, knowledge that has the power to end all, he is one of the most, if not, the most intelligent being in the universe and has used this in his adventures across space and time, in fact it is due to this intelligence that he has become so feared, having smote Gods and Demons, inter-dimensional aliens and having saved the universe countless times.
  • Sonic Screwdriver: After the loss of the previous sonic screwdriver, the TARDIS gifted the Doctor with a new model. Differing radically from the last, with its extendible "claws" and green crystalline emitter resembling the inner structure of the TARDIS's new time rotor, it also had copper plating similar to the new control room. It has many uses and is one of his most viable tools, sadly it can't be used as effectively on primitive tools (i.e, a locked wooden door from medieval times.) which has led to many comical situations.
  • TARDIS: The Eleventh Doctor can travel in his TARDIS (which resembles a blue Police station box) and is capable of flight, travel and so on. The TARDIS boasts faster than light travel that also enables it to time travel to the future and can form a Tippler Cylinder and traverse at different angles in space time to travel to the past, multiple TARDIS all run by the Doctor in all his iterations (except for the 13th one) were seen being able to create a universe for his home world of Gallifrey, locking it in space-time, thus protecting it, moreover with the TARDIS's properties, it has been shown to be nigh invincible to attacks but however, it's control and commands can be volatile, as she has a mind of her own.

Trivia:[]

  • The Doctor is DarthShiro19's first Doctor Who character.
  • The Doctor and mostly this incarnation of him is by far one of DarthShiro19's favorite characters.
  • If you got a bow-tie, a fez, some dinosaurs on a spaceship and fish fingers with custard, you're cool.
  • Before this incarnation's death, he spent 200 years anonymously doing quests, this is the reason why he is used as all his rps happen within those 200 years, also given the fact he can manipulate and travel the space-time continuum, he basically has unlimited potential appearances within rps.
